Introduction
Open Educational Platform to Accelerate Market Adoption of Sustainable Energy Research Outcomes Around the Mediterranean (SERMED) is an international project funded by European Union through the ERASMUS+ program targeting enhancing the universities educational output to be in harmony with local market needs in clean and renewable energy (RE) utilization in terms of building, management, maintenance and development of related RE system and automation technologies.
Objectives
The main objects of the project are:
- Establishing open-source platform where the partner industry can share their requests, needs and asking for support and collaboration with aforementioned universities workshops.
- Creating educational videos in the field of energy, renewable energy, thermal heat, and automation>
Strengthening the collaboration activities between local universities and industry based on Win-Win approach in terms of starting graduate projects, working on research tasks, conducting short-term training, and launching scientific meetings.
WORK PACKAGES
SERMED project foresees six work packages, where partners have joined around the idea of complementary contributions in terms of:
- Contents (energy transition matters relevant for beneficiary partners such as technological, economic, environmental aspects);
- Methods for improving innovative transfer ofknowledge (digital videos, Interactive experiments,remote laboratories, etc.);
Relationship with social context and labor market.
